Heartland 100 25th Anniversary

     Due to a number of last minute deferrals and no shows and due to the higher than usual temperatures at the race this year we had a lower finish % than usual. Resulting in a surplus of 25th Anniversary finisher rings, mostly in the 100 mile-blue and 125 mile-red colors and a very few in the 100K/50mile-green and Marathon/Half Marathon-violet colors. We are offering "The Virtual 25th Anniversary race." Registration opened October 25, 2025 and was offered for one week, first to those with "Unfinished Business" ie this year's DNF's. Registration is now available to all, starting November 1, 2025. Runners virtually follow along the historic Heartland 100 course throught the Kansas Tallgrass Prairie. Runners will receive the 25th Anniversary rings upon completion and recording of their mileage, (Ring only, not a buckle.)
     Registration will be $40.00 or, ($60.00 if you want a race shirt.) Registration is limited to supplies on hand. Once we're sold out there won't be any more.

     Register, run your miles all at once or a bit at a time. At your home route, on trails, on the road, on a treadmill, set your own pace. You have until December 31, 2025 to record your results. Just hit the red "record results" button above and enter your total miles and time and we will send you your swag.
     There are a limited number of spots. Registration for the event will run thru December 31, 2025 or while supplies last. Rings, (and shirt, if ordered), will ship shortly after you report your miles.

     All proceeds from this will be donated to Alzheimer's Association.

     I have done a few Virtual races. Its not for everyone. They can be as authentic as you choose make them. Of course nothing beats actually coming out and running with us. But if you couldn't make it this year, here's a chance to get one of the limited edition 25th Anniversary Rings
