The Mountain Runners operates under a special use permit from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Employer.

WHERE: Wallowa Lake Tramway
DESCRIPTION: The Wallowa Skyrace rises 3700 feet over 4.2 Miles from Wallowa Lake up to the top of Mt Howard. After the push up the mountain, participants can then enjoy the incredible views of the Eagle Cap Wilderness and a Tram ride back down. REGISTRATION: Registration is open until Thursday June 18th. Cost is $90 for Early Bird until December 31, 2025, then $100 for Normal Price until April 30th, 2026, then $110 until Registration Closes on June 18, 2026. Registration cost includes the Tram Ride Down, a finisher medal, and yummy goodies at the end. Shirts are available for purchase for an additional $30.
PACKET PICKUP: At the start of the race at the Wallowa Lake Tramway starting at 8:30 AM on Friday June 26th.
AWARDS: Every participant will receive a finisher medal and awards for Top 3 Overall Male and Female.
CASH PRIZE: $200 Prize for Male Participant or Female Participant that breaks the current course record.
