Get ready to tackle the fast and flowing dirt single track in beautiful George Wyth State Park in Waterloo, Iowa. This trail race is built for those who love rhythm in their run — expect mostly smooth surface trails that encourage a strong pace and a fun racing experience in the Midwest woods and prairies. With two distances available, runners can choose a challenge that fits their goals and trail running experience. We hope to see you at the starting line!

Course Details

George Wyth State Park near Waterloo, IA, featuring well-maintained trails through woods, prairie, and along lakefront sections. A single loop of runnable dirt single track, ideal for newcomers to trail running or those seeking a fast effort. the 25K, two-loop course, adds a pacing and endurance challenge without technical overly terrain. Primarily smooth dirt single track with some grassy and open segments; gentle rollers but no major climbs.

  • Limited aid stations: Runners should carry their own hydration and nutrition, as on-course support is minimal.
  • Aid station locations: Available at the start/finish area and at the beginning of the second loop for 25K runners.
