5 Day Adventure Through the Sahara Desert

Ultra X Sahara takes place in the remote and awe-inspiring Chegaga region of the Moroccan Sahara. Nestled deep in the south of the country, this area is known for its vast sand dunes, rocky plateaus, and harsh desert terrain offering a true test of endurance and resilience.


This is a demanding 5-stage course covering 220km, designed for those seeking a serious challenge. With tough elevation profiles, extreme temperatures, and varied terrain underfoot, this race pushes participants beyond their limits. It’s an unforgettable adventure for both seasoned ultrarunners and those looking to test themselves in one of the world’s most unforgiving environments.

Ultra X welcomes runners and walkers and everyone in between. The majority of those who take part in this event will walk half the course.
