Inaugural Uinta Wilderness Ultra

The Uinta Mountain’s only trail half/marathon (or ultra, since it is technically more than a marathon) race will not disappoint when it comes to both challenge and beauty. From mountain ridges and valleys, to thick pines and mountain lakes, this course has the full mountain marathon experience. With 3,600 feet of climbing (1,800 for the half) and a peak elevation of 9,948 feet, you’ll be sure to feel the burn both in your legs and lungs. This 13 mile looped course will be sure to be a memorable one whether you decide to run it once or twice! Come join us in our inaugural year and see why the Uinta Mountain Range is world renowned.

Aid Stations
-Two aid stations on course for the Half Marathon
-Four aid stations on course for the Full Marathon
-They will be stocked with fruit, salty/sweet snacks, Tailwind, water and much more!

Cut-offs
-5 hour cut-off for the Half Marathon
-8 hour cut-off for the Full Marathon

All runners will receive a T-shirt and a finishers award upon completion.

Packet Pickup/Runner Check-in will be morning of the race from 5:45 AM- 6:45 AM.

All vehicles are required to buy a Mirror Lake Highway pass for parking or camping at the start/finish line. This is $10 dollars and can be purchased online separately at https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74405. This is not included in your race entry.

Much of this race does take place on ATV trails but the Forest Service has been kind enough to shut the trails down to ATV’s during the event, so we will have the area all to ourselves!
