Course Description
Bootleg Boogie is run on a 12.5-mile loop featuring approximately 1,875 feet of climbing and descent per lap.
The course is punchy but fair. There are no extraordinarily long or severe climbs, and no reckless descents — but the terrain is steadily rolling and demands consistency. The elevation accumulates gradually, rewarding smart pacing and steady effort over time.
Total Elevation Gain:
100 Mile (8 loops): ~15,000 feet
50 Mile (4 loops): ~7,500 feet
Half Marathon: ~1,875 feet
The loop format allows runners to settle into a rhythm while providing frequent access to aid, crew, and spectators at the centralized start/finish area.
This is a course designed to be approachable for first-time ultra runners while still offering a meaningful challenge for experienced athletes.
Consistent effort. Thoughtful pacing. Strong finish.
Prize Money
Bootleg Boogie features a $5,000 guaranteed base purse for the 100 Mile.
Once 100 athletes are registered in the 100 Mile distance, $100 will be added to the prize pool for every additional 100-mile entrant.
This means the athletes directly grow the purse.
Example:
110 registered 100-milers = $6,000 total purse
125 registered 100-milers = $7,500 total purse
150 registered 100-milers = $10,000 total purse
Final prize pool totals will be announced once registration closes.
Prize money will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers. Full payout breakdown will be published prior to race weekend.
All athletes must start the course at the official 100 mile start time to be eligible.

Packet Pickup will be at the START/FINISH, Friday afternoon from 4:00PM to 6:00PM and Saturday morning at 5:30 am. Runners can change their distances at any time up until the start of the race. Race Day registrations will be taken up until 1/2 hour before distance starts.

Refunds / Deferrals / Up Grades
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, nor do we offer deferrals to future races. Contracts, permit fees, awards, shirts, and all things associated with your event are planned and paid for long before race day. We also do not transfer entries from runner to runner for various reasons. If a runner is found to be running under someone else's registered name, the bib will be pulled and the runner will not get credit for the race, or race swag. Not showing up to the event will result in no refund or swag.
Races will not be canceled due to rain or heat. Course trail work, closures, reroutes or construction may lead permitting agencies to require changes to the printed courses at any time prior to an event. This is out of the control of any race director, and we therefore will not offer refunds or credits in such a situation. If a race location is changed due to park closures, we will automatically transfer the registration over to the new venue; or entrants may choose to cancel their entry (non-refundable and non-transferable). Races cancelled due to inclement weather, fire or unsafe AQI will be rescheduled, or credited 50% towards a future race. Cancellation will only happen in the best interest and safety of the runners, staff and volunteers.
We do not mail swag not picked up or left behind.
