About the event
Will take you first Southward out of Pong Yaeng loop by going up then spiraling down quickly to the lowest part of the entire route. The road then winding up to the summit of Doi Pui at 1600m above sea level before looping back to Pong Yaeng again through a mixture of deciduous and pine forests along the old mountain paths.
The trail will take you into the Pong Yaeng loop, running along the ridges in anti-clockwise direction to the Finish. Ridder ridges are more than 1,000 meters above sea level and the total accumulation mount will be more than 5,000m. over the whole distance.
We also offer smaller challenges too, a 66km Pong Yaeng Trail will follow the same path of the PYT100 but without leaving Pong Yaeng.
A 22km Rock Tower Climb is shorter but offers its own challenges. Vtheway up to the most iconic vantage point in the area - accumulating almost 1,000m climbing over the course.
The race begins and ends near the Glass House at the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai.
