Swift Foot Trail Runs

Explore the only trail running event in the Scratchgravel hills just northwest of Helena, MT! These hills get great sun exposure which help for early trail access in the spring. Trail terrain is a mixture of technical rocky trails, smooth single track and old jeep roads.Come enjoy the expansive views and beautiful trails of the Scratchgravel Hills of Helena, MT!

For 2026, we will only be offering the 50K race distance as a “fun run”. This will be self supported, but water will be available at aid stations. If you want to have a drop bag for Head Ln., Norris Rd. or John G Mine Rd. Aid Stations, the race director will coordinate getting those bags to those aid stations. If you want to only join for 13 miles, 18 miles or 25 miles, you can place a car or get picked up at Head Ln. Trailhead (13 miles), Norris Rd. Trailhead (18 miles), or John G Mine Rd. Trailhead (25 miles). Phone service available at all aid stations.
