Run the Mother Fricker

The Mother Fricker was born as a running event for all runners. The focus has been on camaraderie and celebrating the simple joy of running—without timing, fees, or medals.

The Loops

There are four separate loops that all have their own start time. If you complete all four, that is the whole Mother Fricker - 20miles. Each loop starts at the event location.

8 mile(Alpha) - 8am
6 mile(Beta) - 10am
4 mile(Gamma) - 1130am
2 mile(Delta) - 1230pm

Location and Parking

Each loop will start and end at the Lower Frick Park Play Area (the soccer field). There is a parking lot here. We suggest you show up early to get a spot.

End of Braddock Trail (0.6 mile)
Biddle Parking Lot (0.7 mile)
Frick Park Environmental Center (1 mile)

No Fee, Donations Welcomed

There is no registration fee to run any of the distances. In the spirit of the original event, we ask you to bring at least one pair of retired running shoes. All shoes will benefit the charities of PICKUP PLEASE.

If you are feeling extra charitable, please also bring canned goods to be donated to The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
