Description

The Outlaw 100 will take place at Twin Mountains in Kinta, Oklahoma. The course offers a dynamic mix of terrain, including rocky climbs, creek crossings, runnable jeep roads, and steep powerline ascents. Runners will even get the chance to follow a historic stagecoach road. With over 2,000 feet of elevation gain on a 13-mile loop, the course promises to be both fun and challenging.

Each entry comes with a t-shirt, and hoodies are available for purchase separately.

Triple

This year at Outlaw, we are offering a triple. It will start with a 4-mile run on Friday at 6:30 PM. On Saturday, you can choose your distance: 5 K, Half Marathon, Marathon, or 50 Mile. Sunday is a 5K. For doing the triple, you will get your shirt on Friday, a hoodie on Saturday, and a Cowboy hat on Sunday.

Outlaw 135

There has been increased interest in longer distances, especially the 200-mile races. This is a nice intermediate to test yourself and develop strategies for those longer runs. Same Saturday morning start time for the 100-mile run with a 52-hour cutoff (see cutoffs in the section below). New this year, we will have an 8 AM start on Friday morning.

Outlaw 100

The Outlaw 100 features a challenging 13-mile loop completed eight times, with each loop offering over 2,000 feet of elevation gain. By the time you conquer the full 100 miles, you’ll have tackled an impressive 17,500 feet of total elevation gain. The course is known for its highly technical terrain, packed with rocks and moderate climbing, all at an altitude of around 1,000 feet.

This is not your typical rails-to-trails or gravel road event, which explains the generous cutoff times. Depending on pre-race rainfall, water crossings—where you’ll absolutely get your feet wet—may also add to the adventure. Get ready for a race that’s both challenging and rewarding!

50 Mile, Marathon, and Half Marathon

The half-marathon is the 13.1-mile loop. The marathon consists of two loops, and the 50-mile consists of four loops (thus, the 50-mile is about 52ish miles).

5K

One of the most scenic 5ks in Oklahoma. Run it Saturday or Sunday, or both!

Child Discount (in person only)
Outlaw events are meant to be amongst family and friends. As such, any parent entry will entitle one child (15 yo and under) to a free entry of same or lesser distance. We understand that registering all the kids gets expensive so here is a chance for the kids to get a great medal and T-shirt and to be active and healthy as a family. Please message us at Outlaw 100 for the coupon code.

Volunteer Benefits
Along with a T-shirt and the normal fun of volunteering, we would like to do more. It takes a community to put on quality races, but volunteers also need to be appreciated. The program will be as follows: Shifts are in 8 hour increments and you must sign up. If you volunteer for one shift at any of our races you will get 25% off registration for any of our future races. Distance is not a factor. So 4 shifts will be a free race.

Cancellations\Credits\Distance Changes

1. Cancellations & Race Credit
We do not offer cash refunds, deferrals to next year, or bib transfers to other runners. Instead, we provide future race credit, valid for 2 years, for any Outlaw event.

The amount of credit you receive depends on when you withdraw from UltraSignUp: Log into UltraSignUp> Account Info > Registration History > Cancel.

90+ Days Before Race: 100% Credit

30–89 Days Before Race: 75% Credit

Less than 30 Days Before Race: 0% Credit (No credit issued)

Note: Credits are calculated based on the race price minus taxes and fees. Once a credit is issued (including those from volunteering), it cannot be reissued or credited again.

2. Changing Your Distance
You can change your race distance yourself until Wednesday of race week.

How to Change: Log into UltraSignup > Account Info > Registration History > Edit > Switch Event.

Moving Up: You must pay the price difference plus a small UltraSignup fee.

Moving Down: You can switch to a shorter distance, but no partial refunds or credits are given for the price difference.

After Wednesday: All changes must be made in person at the race site and are subject to distance availability (you cannot switch into a sold-out race).

3. The "No Dropping" Rule
Once your race begins, you are committed to that specific distance.

No Mid-Race Switches: If you sign up for the 100-miler but stop after 50 miles, you will be listed as a DNF (Did Not Finish).

No Medals for Partial Completion: You must finish the full distance you are registered for to receive a finisher's medal.

Dropdowns/DNFs?DQs

Runners starting a race but not finishing the intended distance will be listed as a DNF at the bottom of the results for their registered distance. Runners may not be “dropped down” to a shorter distance once they start a race, and will not appear as finishers of the shorter distance. This ensures a fair event, where runners know their competition and are not disadvantaged by a runner dropping out. Runners may switch distances before the start of their race and will be eligible as a finisher in that event

DNF: Runners starting a race but not finishing the intended distance, in the intended order as marked, and under the official cutoffs, will be listed as a DNF at the bottom of the results for their registered distance.

DQ: Runners must complete the course in its intended order, as marked by race officials. Any deviation from or cutting of the course may result in a timing penalty or even disqualification. Additionally, runners who are found to be excessively rude to race personnel, volunteers, or others may also be considered for disqualification. We believe in fostering a respectful and supportive race environment, and these rules are in place to uphold that.

Dropdowns: Runners may not be “dropped down” to a shorter distance once they have started a race and will not appear as finishers of the shorter distance. Runners may switch distances before the start of their race and will be eligible as a finisher in the updated race distance.
