EVENT OVERVIEW

The The Brazos Legend is an endurance event featuring a trail 5K, 10M, 20M, 50K, 50M "The Best" + 10M RUCK in the hills of Central Texas at Cameron Park Redwood Shelter. The event follows 10 mile loop beginning and ending in Cameron Park Redwood Shelter in Waco Texas. This race is a part of the Texas Legends Series.

COURSE OVERVIEW

- Surface: Dirt & Rocky Single Track Trails.
- Course: Cameron Park Trails Course Map
- Elevation: Hilly showing 1200ft elevation gain for 10 mile loop.
- Location: Cameron Park Redwood Shelter (2300 Cameron Park Dr, Waco, TX 76708)
- Weather: Historic Average 54-74 degrees weather
- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!
- Pacer: Only 1 Pacer Per Runner and only allowed in Last Half of 50K & 50M (Signup Here)

Texas Legends Series

This race is a part of the Texas Legends Series. The "Legends Series" spans all Central Texas.You can save up to 20% on the 2027 Texas Legend Series by registering for a Series Pass. Register Soon

Each pass includes all 5 legend races that take place in Texas. You can choose your distance range, get the Legendary Pass, which allows you to do the YETI 100K, Goliath's 50 Miler, Chupacabra 50 Miler, the Brazos Legend 50 Miler, and the Desert Wolf 100K all in one pass. Or, if you're looking to increase distance slowly, the Legend Up Pass is perfect to build up to a 50K at Desert Wolf.

Series Passes will be available until January 20th, 2027, lock in yours before. Once you register, we will go on our end and add you to each race in the series pass you selected. It's your responsibility to look at each race including when, where, and what. Learn more

Schedule - Saturday
5AM - Packet Pickup Opens
7AM - The BEAST Starts (50 Miler)
7:30AM - 10M, 10M RUCK, 20M, 50K Start
8AM - 5K Starts
9PM - Cutoff for ALL events

RUCK Weight requirements
- If you weigh more than 150 lbs = 30 lb. Ruck
- If you weigh less than 150 lbs = 20 lb. Ruck
