Join us for the 2027 GR-8 Hour!

Our race location is North Peninsula Park which is managed by the rangers at Gamble Rogers Memorial Recreation Area. This location affords access to campground, area for tent city, real restroom facilities, beauty and outstanding park support. The duration of the race is 8 hours enjoyed via a beautiful 2 mile loop. We also will have a 5k race for those who want to have some fun on the trail while their loved ones run longer and for younger ones. Those wishing to get their first ultra distance under their belt will have eight hours to do so. Also it is a good race for others to get in long runs for upcoming events or various distance PR's. The time for the 8 hour race will be from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. With the 5k kicking off at 8:15 am. Our date of March 13th, 2027 makes it a perfect training race for Keys 100 or other later spring/early summer races. We hope you will be able to join us for this one of a kind event, on a beautiful, NON Technical slightly rolling single track, trail nestled between the intra-coastal waterway and ocean.
