Location
The Sundance Trail Run is held in the beautiful Bearlodge Mountain's of North East Wyoming's Black Hills. Pine forests, spring fed mountain streams, aspen groves, and exposed ridges with views of the surrounding Great Plains make this challenging trail run a premier event. The Sundance Trail System is a network of single-track trails with short sections of forest road used to create a "grand tour" of the Bearlodge Mountains. Sundance is the needle in your haystack for off-pavement mountain trail running; with well-supplied aid stations, friendly volunteers, and excellent course markings. This small grassroots event with character is sure to impress whether it be the camping located at the Start/Finish, the amazing course or the post race camaraderie.
Course
