Flight of Fire

The original trail race in Red Rock National Conservation Area…now in it's seventh year. A half marathon, 10K, and 5K on the breathtaking trails of Red Rock NCA! You won’t find better views or more amazing scenery than that of Red Rock Canyon. This event is limited to 200 participants, so register early, as it is sure to sell out.

COURSE
Starting at the Visitors’ Center, the course will travel clockwise to the Moenkopi Loop, the Grand Circle Loop, and the White Rock-Willow Springs Trail, then to the White Rock dirt road, back to the Grand Circle Loop, on to the Calico Hills Trail, and finally back to the Moenkopi Loop, finishing back at the Visitors’ Center. This course is a technical trail race and trail shoes with gaiters are recommended.
The 10K follows the same course, ending at the White Rock aid station. Shuttle service will be provided to return 10K runners to the start area; due to the varied finish times of runners, runners may elect to arrange their own transportation, as frequency of shuttle service cannot be guaranteed.
AID STATIONS
Four aid stations will be located along the course. Aid stations will supply water, electrolytes,  gels, and salt tablets. Vehicular and spectator access is available at all aid stations.

RACE START AND TIME LIMITS
Half Marathon will start at 7:30am
10K will start at 7:45am
5K will start at 8:00am
Cut-off for all races is 12:00pm
PACKET PICK-UP

You must pick up your packet at packet pickup on Friday evening.

RACE DAY
All participants will receive a technical shirt and a finisher medal (upon completion of the registered event).  Awards will be presented for the top men’s and women’s finishers in each race. Distribution and depth of age group awards is dependent upon participant field.
Winners must be present to receive all finisher awards and raffle prizes. No awards or prizes will be mailed.
Runner instructions will be given ten (10) minutes prior to the race start. Runners are responsible for hearing all instructions, checking the website for updates, and reviewing the participant instructions email that will be sent and posted on Facebook and Twitter; no later than Friday before the race.
Gear check will be available at the Start/Finish Area. Runners must mark their items clearly with their name and place them in the gear check area. Gear check is to be used at the runners’ risk; Triple Dare Running Company is not responsible for any lost, misplaced, or stolen items.

PARKING
All participants MUST park and ride the shuttle to the Start/Finish area. There will be no parking at Red Rock Canyon Visitors Center.
