Day of race registration: 6:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Race start times are: 50K - 7:30 a.m. / 30k - 8:00 a.m. / 1/2 Marathon,10K Military Team Challenge - 8:30 a.m. / 5K, 10K - 9:00 a.m.
All paid entrants will receive a customized race shirt, access to some of the best stocked aid stations, and cheered on by the most enthusiastic volunteers you could find, every step of the way. All racers will receive unique finisher medals. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places in each category.
Military Team competition (4 Person Teams) will run 10K and the places of each individual will determine what place the overall team receives. Team awards for the top 3 teams. THIS RUN IS A CUP-LESS EVENT.

Limited Number of Participants
Participation numbers have been limited to 250 runners. Those who have pre-registered will be pre-screened for entrance to race site. Day of registration, runners must provide legal proof of identity with photo (drivers license, passport, official government I.D.) and will have background checks done at the front gate prior to entrance onto Dugway Proving Ground.
Men's and Women's - All Distances
Military Team (4 Person Teams) 10K
The 7th Annual Dugway Trail & Ultra Run gives runners a unique opportunity to participate in a 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon, 30K, and 50K ultra run, and 10K Military Team Challenge on the grounds of Dugway Proving Ground, Utah Army Installation. The desert trail offers an abundance of elevation changes with rocky, soft sand, and desert ground terrain with a gain of (10K 1475 ft., 1/2 Marathon 2945 ft., 30K 3968 ft., and 50k 6002 ft). The course is primarily single track trail with some connecting dirt roads. Part of the trail follows wild mustang trails and views of golden eagles nests along the route.
Installation Entrance Information
"Since Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) is a U.S. Army military installation, all registrants entering DPG will be subject to an advance background check before being allowed to enter DPG to participate in the “Dugway Trail & Ultra Run ”. Any person who has a background check that reveals adverse information (e.g., outstanding arrest warrant, record of felony conviction, or any other information that might create a security risk on DPG) may be excluded from DPG and not allowed to enter and race. Questions may be referred to the DPG MWR point of contact."
Front Gate Requirments
Come early! A minimum of 45 minutes, as the process getting on the installation could take a little time and all participants and visitors need to have patience. As with all Army Installations, U.S. official I.D.'s are required (Drivers License, etc.) at the front gate. If you are driving in, a personal I.D., car registration, and vehicle insurance are required. Anyone with any type of warrants will be stopped and held at the front gate and not allowed on the installation.
Camping / Lodging Available
Pre or Post event lodging is available at Dugway. The Coyote Cove Campground is a dry camp area for both tents or trailers for $8 per night. Showers and bathrooms available at Shocklee Fitness Center on Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Porta-Potties will be available at the campsite.
