About the event
Welcome to the second running of Six Hours in Paradise. A 6 hour looped course in Paradise Park in Windsor, VT on August 13th at 9:30AM. The loop is 2.2 miles of mixed carriage roads and single track with over 200 feet of elevation gain per lap. The race will start and finish at a pavillion in the middle of the park that will provide shelter for timers, aid station goods, and participant property given rainy weather.
First place male and female participants will receive awards from OrangeMud. All participants will receive some sort of participation award; we may do mugs or pint glasses again, or t-shirts.
There will be an aid station of sorts at the pavillion. We will be supplying water, Nuun, bananas, fig newtons, gummy bears and maybe a vegetable to round things out (celery and ranch in the middle of an ultra?). The course will run right by the pavillion so if there’s something special you’d like to bring, it will be easily accesible.
