The Synergy Athlete Half Marathon
The Synergy Athlete half marathon begins at 9,380 ft above see level and climbs to 11,340 ft. Participants start at the base of Mount Crested Butte and ascend to the top of the Silver Queen lift by way of the Westside trail single track. At the top of the Silver Queen lift, the course turns around becomes a fast descent along a service road for approximately 2 miles. Returning to single track the course traverses 5 miles over rolling trails through alpine meadows and aspen stands finding the finish back at the base area.
All proceeds benefit Living Journeys, Gunnison County's cancer support organization.
