Relay Team Captains have been sent an invite and code to create your team. Captains will then send invites to their members to sign up for the team.
2022 registration usually opens September 10, 2021 (Peyton's Birthday), but this year we will open it once all the deferrals are registered.
Relay team captains will pay for their team at registration and then invite teammates to join their team.

10x5K - Solo = $75
10x5K - 2 person team = $140

50K and 5K
This is an Ultra 50K and 5K combined event. 50K event starts at 7:00am and is a 10x5K format (one 5K at the top of each hour for ten consecutive hours). 5K event starts at 10:00am and runs the same route as the 50K participants (yes, it will be crazy). Relay for the 10x5K is open to two and five person teams (must have full teams). Teams choose their own order for runners and share one bib for the whole day. This is the best of both worlds, there will be crazy fast runners and crazy ultra runners on the same course. There will be a runner village area for the relay and solo runners to set up tents and hangout while waiting for the next race. We will have great food (Martin's BBQ), music and give a ways all day. Don't miss the chance to be part of the coolest trail race in the Charleston area!

Join us for the seventh annual "Peyton's Wild and Wacky 5K Ultra" on March 12, 2022!
For the past six years we have had a huge turnout, a great race and a lot of fun. The last five years we sold out the race! We are planning for an even better time this year.
This race is in honor of Peyton Moore, our nine year old son who passed away in 2013. P was a local runner, track and field star and all around great kid who lived life to the fullest. We could not think of a better way to remember our boy than spending a day running and hanging out with all our runner friends.
Just like Peyton, this race will be wild and wacky. Join us for a 10x5K (50K) Ultra or come out and run the 5K event right in the middle of the ultra. Run the 50K solo or make a relay team with 2 or 5 of your friends. All races will be held on the Laurel Hill Trail in Mount Pleasant, SC.
All proceeds from the race will be donated to Peyton's favorite organizations;

Price Increase / Registration
Registration opens September 10, 2021 (Peyton's Birthday). There is NO race day registration.
Must register by February 1, 2022 to be guaranteed an event shirt and bag.
All solo 10x5K and relay 10x5K runners to register will receive a RUN4P trucker hat (it's pretty sweet!)
5K runners/walkers will receive RUN4P swag (it will be pretty sweet too!)

This event will happen rain or shine (we always run in the rain).
We can not issue refunds or deffer registration under any circumstance (just know it is going to a great cause).
In the event county or state authorities force us to cancel the event for any reason we will still give out all race packets to registered runners, but we can not issue refunds or deffer registration under any circumstance (just know it is going to a great cause - yes, I copied that from above).
This is a trail run so you should expect some mud if it rains before or during the race (you should expect a lot of mud if it rains a lot).
The race is on a trail, unfortunately this does not make it stroller friendly. You can definitely walk the trail with a child, but a stroller will not make it (at least not mine). Dogs are allowed at the park, but our insurance does not allow dogs on the trail.
5K event starts at 10:00am
Rules for the 10x5K:
10x5K starts at 7:00am
Solo runners and relay runners must complete the 5K loop in one hour or less.
Relay teams will share one bib (you can run in any order, but the team must run all ten 5K races - so you can't just run the first 5 together - ask us if you don't understand).
You will hear a 5 minute warning before the end of each hour.
You must be lined up and ready to run at the start of each 5K.

There will be coffee, Martin's BBQ for all registered participants at 11:30am on race day (it's freaking awesome!) and Kona Ice in the afternoon while you wait for the awards!
