Two Days, Two Races Can you conquer both?
A night half-marathon on August 11. The next day, a 50-miler on August 12. Do both for 2 special interlocked medals. Or do one of the distances for one medal. Heat, rocks, hills, sun, darkness. Are you up for the challenge?
Low Entry Fees
1/2 Marathon - $60 until race day!
This is a night race that starts on Friday night at 8:30 PM.
50 Miler - $80.00 until race day!
This race starts on Saturday at 11 AM.
Both Events - $120.00 !!!

Location
Branded B Ranch, Meriden, Kansas. 1 hour drive from MCI (Kansas City International Airport).
Located between Topeka and Lawrence, KS. Campnext to the start/finish line. Showers available.
Half Marathon Course
Hilly one-loop course with multiple unstaffed water aid stops and one staffed aid station about half way on the course. Single-track trails in fully shaded hardwood forest. Mandatory lighting device (headlamp and/or flashlight) required, as well as mandatory hydration device or water bottle.
50-Mile Course
Hilly 3-loop course of 17-miles per loop. Single-track trails in fully shaded hardwood forest. Multiple water aid stations on the course, with one staffed aid station 11 miles into each loop. Mandatory hydration device or water bottle required. Mandatory lighting device (headlamp and/or flashlight) required for last loop.
Goodies
Over-the-top aid stations and experienced volunteers.
Receive a shirt for entering either or both races.
Finishers receive a medal for each event; those medals fit together (for those who finish both). Also, get a special trucker hat for finishing both. Finisher stickers included for each distance.

Soft beverages and micro-brewed & regular beer provided. Post-race simple meals provided.
Chillax in air-conditioned comfort in the large grange hall, or hang out on the giant mowed lawn / camping area.
Pacers
Yes, Pacers are allowed for the final 17 mile loop of the 50 mile race on Saturday.
All Pacers need to sign the waiver on race day, and acquire a Pacer Bib. There is no charge for pacers, but it would be nice if you bought them an event shirt ($15).
Pacers need to be self-sufficient and have a water bottle or hydration device with them and also a functioning headlamp and/or flashlight. Canine Pacers are not allowed at this event.
