About the event

The Down Under 135 is now in its 5th year has proven to be the gnarliest, super extreme running races offered anywhere in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere. Covering 135 miles ( 217 km ) in a single stage non-stop from the start to finish, this adventure is across the single trails of the Lerderderg and Wombat State Forests in Victoria located only 40km west of the Melbourne Airport and CBD.

With a total 19% finishing rate over 4 years this challenge is well and truly worth travelling across the world for with aid stations and volunteers from local running groups the atmosphere is something special to everyone who has been involved.
