About

The Richard Bong State Recreational Area in Kansasville, WI is the home of the Wolfpack Trail Run. The recreation area encompasses 4,515 acres of rolling grassland, savanna, wetlands and scattered woodland which serves as the backdrop for this challenging fall ultra event.

The course is a figure eight. The smaller loop is four miles and is run mainly on slightly hilly single track through woods and prairie. The larger loop is 10 miles and is run on the horse trails through the managed prairie and on the outskirts of the wetlands.

The Wolfpack Trail Run has a distance to fit all abilities of runners or walkers. You can chose from 4, 14, 28, or 42 miles with walk options for all except the 42 mile event. There will be two aid stations on the course. There will be tables and chairs set up at the intersecting point of the two loops for gear drop and setting up your own fueling station.
