-The 50 Miler and 50k take place on Saturday
-The 25k and 5 mile is on Sunday!
All runners get a pint glass with registration. 50 mile, 50k and 25k runners get a finisher medal.
Cutoff Times:
50 miler - 15.5 hours
50k - 11 hours
25k - 5.5 hours
5 miler - 1.5 hours. While the 5 mile route is hiker friendly the rest you will need to be running some of it most likely to make cutoffs
Course Description:
The goal of these races is not to be hard but to be scenic, fun and safe. The 50k consists of a single 14 loop and then a lollipop. The half marathon is a lollipop route, and the 50 miler is the 50k course, but with another lollipop off that course. The 5 mile will be a beautiful route thats a lollipop with roughly 600ft of gain - this is NOT a flat run! The 50k and 50 miler consist of mainly rolling hills with a few 200-500 ft climbs, and of course the plunge down to the bottom of the canyon and back! Expect 7500 ft gain on the 50 mile, 4500 ft gain on 50k and 2900 ft gain on the 25k. The 5 miler has about 600 ft gain. You will pass massive waterfalls, jaw dropping open views of valleys, and a sunrise as far as you can see into the horizon! The 25k is tough with all the beauty and hardship of the 50k / 50 mile course in one. It’s totally worth it and features a plunge down to the bottom of the canyon and back up. BRING YOUR CAMERAS!

All runners will get a finishers pint glass. 50 Mile and 50k participants get a medal. To be guaranteed a pint glass/ medal you must be registered by November 1st. l.
Refunds/Deferments
Refund & Deferral Policy
EFFECTIVE 8/25/2026-Run Bum Races does not offer refunds, transfers, race credits, or deferrals, except for the limited circumstances outlined in our full Refund & Deferral Policy.
If you would like refund protection, SPOT Refund Protection must be purchased through UltraSignup at the time of checkout.
**SPOT cannot be added after registration/checkout is complete. SPOT is a third-party service offered through UltraSignup and is not administered or controlled by Run Bum Races.
**Any questions regarding SPOT coverage, eligibility, claims, or refunds must be directed to UltraSignup/SPOT.
Outside of our limited exceptions for pregnancy, military obligations, or the death of an immediate family member, the only option for a Run Bum race deferral/credit is to volunteer an event for a minimum of 8 hours for a 50k or longer distance & a minimum of 6 hours for distances less than 50k.
Participants who registered prior to 8/25/2026 remain subject to the policy in effect at the time of their registration.
