2018 Paatuwaqatsi Run is back!
Dear Paatuwaqatsi runners and friends,
We are back this year for the Paatuwaquatsi Run! This year's "Water is Life" run event will take place at Founder Bucky Preston's residence located in Polacca, Arizona, on the Hopi Reservation. We will return with the spirit of the original Ultra run, the 10 mile, and fun run on Saturday, September 8th, 2018.
The work to raise awareness for the sacredness of water and the preservation of our ancient trails has continued with Preston during this hiatus because as it is essential to our Hopi way of life.
The Paautwaqatsi Committee is working to finalize the course and logistics of the run and the move back to Polacca. We will have details available on the website soon. Continue to follow us on our facebook page for more information as it becomes available: Paatuwaqatsi Water is Life Run. We hope to get our online registration up and running soon as well. Meanwhile, please send us an e-mail at email@example.com. and request for a registration form that can be e-mailed to you.
Bucky would like to personally thank all of the runners for your patience and understanding. And to the many volunteers that have helped over the years. We look forward to seeing you again at this year's event. The Paatuwaqatsi Committee
