It's all about sharing our love for the Lower Sunshine Coast Trails

Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and no credits will be issued.

The Best Single Track In The Pacific North west

We might be a little biased living on the coast and running these trails every spare minute we get, but honestly having ran elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest we think we have the best kept secret. But we just could not keep it to ourselves any longer and so the Puddle Jumper Classic was born.

If you love the trails of Squamish, Manning Park, North Van, Cascades, Gorge Falls etc, then you wont be disappointed by our race. In fact as the trails on the coast are a hidden gem the trails are not as well used as other trails in BC meaning less issues with erosion and less chance of bumping into other trail users on the main part of the course, Cliff Gilker is well used and you will need to be respectful of other trail users, but up on the B&K trails you can run your socks off!!

Technical Trail

It being the Pacific Northwest this course has plenty of your favorites such as tree roots, big rocks, small rocks, rocks the size of baby heads. The course will be wet in parts because its the Puddle Jumper and because it is in BC. In other parts it will be wetter still as there are plenty of creek crossings.

We wont lie we will send you straight up to the highest heights that will test the powerhiking skills of any trailrunner, but then what goes up must come down and we know you are going to love flying down the super flowy downhill sections on the course. You will be like a kid in a candy store or I will eat my hat.

Creek laden Course
The Puddle Jumper Classic 50k (and its sister race, the Puddle Jumper Classic 25k) are unique in the number of creeks the course crosses and there are a few cool waterfalls that this course runs by.

This is a loop course, starting at Cliff Gilker Park in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast, BC. Approximately 56 kilometers from Downtown Vancouver and yet it feels like its a different world. The 50K has approximately 8,000 feet of elevation gain and takes place primarily on single track trail. The 25k has approximately 4,000 feet of elevation gain and takes place primarily on single track trail.

Runners of the 50k course have 9 hours to complete the course. There are 3 full aid stations and only one aid station will allow crew access.

Awesome finishline party

All of that and then to top it off an awesome post-race party with music, local craft beer, and hot, fresh burgers and veggie options.
