The Mt. Hood Races
The heavily shaded 50M course is an out and back run almost entirely on the Pacific Crest Trail. The 50K is also on the PCT but you get to run around Timothy Lake as well. The 25K course involves the Headwaters and Old 1916 Trail before going around Timothy lake. The trail is generally soft with good footing, although there are some technical sections with rocks and roots. All races start at historic Clackamas Ranger Station.
50M - Saturday, July 11
50K - Sunday, July 12
25K - Sunday, July 12
If you need to cancel your registration and it’s more than 30 days prior to the race, you will receive a 50% credit toward a future Go Beyond Racing race. This credit is equal to half the value of the race you registered for and can be applied to any of our races that aren’t already sold out. You can use this credit within 365 days of it being issued. There is no transferring of this credit. If your cancellation is 30 days or less from race day, there is no credit, no refund, or no transfer. You can read our entire cancellation policy here:
The Mt. Hood 50 Mile race is a lottery. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. Pacific on 1/5/20 and closes at 6:00 p.m. on 1/10/20. On 1/11/20, we will randomly draw all the names, with the first 150 getting into the race. All others are put on the wait list, in the order they are drawn.
Mt Hood 50K and 25K are not lotteries, but will fill up very quickly. They open up on Monday 1/13/20 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific
Go Beyond Racing
This event is produced by Go Beyond Racing. We put on over three dozen trail races a year. You can count on every Go Beyond race to:
Local time: 7:06 PM
- Be highly organized with racer safety and satisfaction as top priorities
- Donate to a worthy beneficiary for each race
- Have well-stocked aid stations and the friendliest, most supportive volunteers
- Challenge and reward each participant
- Put more time, money, and energy than most to reduce, reuse, recycle, and lessen the environmental impact of our events
We look forward to sending you off on the trails and welcoming you across the finish line!
