Race Day Information

****There will be Race day Registration beginning at 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM Saturday Afternoon Race shirts are sold out but you will get a bottle opener****

Thank you guys so much for signing up for one of the most fun and exciting races on the Southside of the ATL. Hopefully the weather will be perfect Saturday and we can't wait to see you. Here is all the info you need leading up to the race start.

Packet Pickup: Friday @ Newsole in Mcdonough GA from 12 PM - 6 PM or Race Afternoon from 4:45- 5:45pm in front of Jailhouse Brewing Company.
Chip Timing: We use reusable chips that should be pinned to your outer garment preferably on your hip. If you shed clothing make sure you don't shed the chip or you won't get timed. Once you finish we will have a bucket you can drop them in and we can use these at future races. This saves you and us and the charity money!
Race start: 6pm May 12, 2018
Parking: It's very tight in downtown Hampton so make use of any public lots by the police station, train depot, etc. There are lofts across from the Brewery and these are not open to the public so please do not park there or block any driveways along the streets.
Portos: There will be 3 portopotties by the start line.. plan accordingly because the race starts @ 6pm sharp.
Location: 8 Cherry St Hampton, GA 30228
Course: The route is very flat with less than 100 feet of gain for the whole course. This year we will mark each turns with signs and flagging instead of the spray chalk used in the past. You will head out McDonough Rd and do a loop inside a subdivision and then head back the exact same way, the 1st and 3rd mile are identical.
After Party and tour: If you selected a wristband then you will receive this when you pickup your number. After the race to get into the brewery and served alcohol you MUST show your ID.
Awards: All age group and overall awards will receive a unique growler. Age group awards are overall m/f masters m/f and top 3 m/f in these age groups: 0-10, 11-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+.
Photos: We'll have a photographer at the start and finish line and the pictures will be posted on our website within a week.
The city of Hampton is having Movie night in the park (about 1/4 mile from the brewery) starting at 8pm that night if anyone wants to attend that after the race. More info about the movie can be found @

Last but not least thank you to our sponsors - Newsole, JMC Homes and General Contracting, Jailhouse Brewing, Jennifer Simmons Photography, SCBTV, Edward Jones of Henry County, High Priority Plumbing and Services, Resurgens Orthopaedics, Bohland Family and Sports Chiropractic, Proactive Rehab, and Heritage Bank.
