Race Info

The Ouroboros Trail Run race consists of 12 hour, 6 hour, and 6 hour relay timed trail race events, all taking place on the trails of Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, CA. The course is a six mile lap; runners complete as many laps as desired in the allotted time. All events start at 7:00 am on Saturday, May 12th 2018.

Location & Course

The Ouroboros Trail Run starts and finishes at the Bear Hole parking area (Parking Area K), located in Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, CA (see the "Directions" link above). Access to Bear Hole is via Upper Park Road.

Each lap of the Ouroboros Trail Run is 6.1 miles. The first half of course is primarily uphill, with approximately 1000 feet of climbing. Since this is a loop, runners will then enjoy the second half of the course, which is primarily downhill for the same 1000 feet.

Registration

The race is limited to 200 participants across all three events. The 12 hour and 6 hour events are for solo runners. The 6 hour relay allows for a team of two runners. For a qualifying relay finish, each team member must complete at least *one* lap.
