Funny Twunny

427 Ski Lodge Drive

Huntington, VT 20 Miler, 20K

This Event Took Place Sat. Mar 31, 2018

COME ALL YE FOOLS!!!!!!!!

Fools of March come to Sleepy Hollow for a race of hilarious proportions. The Funny Twunny is a 20 mile-ish race, and 20k-ish race, where how far you run is directly proportional to how funny and clever you are. Hilarity will be judged at each stop at the aid station, and your total race distance will be adjusted accordingly. For those of you with no sense of humor - you can try answering a riddle instead! If you moonlight as a stand up comic, or a polymath - you might have a serious leg up in this race!

This is a VT trail race in late March so the weather and conditions can be variable - there is the possibility of whipped cream pies precipitating, and roving clowns, so be prepared for whatever the day may hold including the possibility of bruised funnybones.

Ridiculous running outfits and clown shoes are strongly encouraged!!!

There will be prizes for fastest runner, funniest runner, funniest outfit etc, etc. We will also have some snacks and hot food and drinks for everybody and that sort of thing. All finishers will get a "medal" and a funny twunny t-shirt. Someone might also get a potato.

You need more information on how the race is setup?? Well here is a basic rundown.

There will be loops through the Sleepy Hollow Trails that range from 1.5 to 2.5 miles. You start and end each loop at the round barn, where there will be food drinks and a fire pit. Everyone starts on a short loop, with a staggered race start based on how funny your registration joke is. When you come back to the round barn the race director will either make you tell a joke or answer a riddle. If you are funny/get it right your next loop is short. Not funny/get it wrong, your next loop is long. 20k-ish runners will run 6 loops for somewhere between 9-14 miles. 20m-ish runner will run 9 loops for between 14 and 22 miles.
