Choose from a challenging 8 mile or 16 mile (2 laps) trail run on forested XC ski trails, 2-track and single-track trails. Parking at Casper Mountain Trails Center. Race start along the Natrona County Parks Nordic Trail System.

** NEW FOR 2018 **
Starting with the 2018 SHSC, we will alternate course direction each year. What this means: because all previous years were ran in a counter clockwise direction, the 2018 race reverses direction and will run clockwise, 2019 will go back to counter clockwise, etc..
To make it easier, EVEN numbered year = CLOCKWISE
ODD numbered year = COUNTER CLOCKWISE

Saturday: 7am behind Casper Mountain Trails Center at Start/Finish
*ALL runners will need to sign in upon arrival to the
race start. Get there early!!
Online registration closes Thursday July 19th at 11:59pm.
Late registration can be done only at packet pick-up Friday July 20th. Cash or check only for late registration. Registration increases again after Thursday July 19th! NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
Parking: Casper Mountain Trails Center parking area.
Start/Finish will be behind the Trails Center. Food and awards will follow at approximately 11:00am. BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) to hang out and cheer on the runners!
Primitive camping available along Skunk Hollow/Strube Loop, Beartrap Meadow, Deer Haven and Tower Hill campgrounds. All within walking distance to the Start/Finish. Please obey all fire restrictions.
Not racing or have family members spectating? The course has multiple viewing areas within walking distance. Don't forget your cowbell or other noisemaker to cheer your runner on!
