Nothing Comes Easy...

Upon completing the required loops the 60k (both day and night) and 100 mile runners are sent back down the trail in reverse to make up any missing distance from your required loops. Distance will be computed prior to the start of the event and you will be informed of your distance via a sign at the start/finish area. Heading down the trail in reverse and then heading back to finish the event has proven to be one of the most difficult aspects of the race.

Time Frame, Awards and Stuff

• 100 miles in 30 hours.
• 100k in 22 hours
• 50k in 10 hours (both day and night events)

If you complete your event within the time frame given, you are considered and “official” finisher and will be awarded your time and Finisher Coin. If you are running the 100 Mile event, you will be awarded the Finishers Coin along with a buckle if you complete the event in the given time frame.

Stuff:
Do not get caught littering on the trail. If you do…you are automatically DISQUALIFIED from the event. Period.

Do not argue with event staff! If they feel that you are unable to finish the event due to your physical condition, your pace per mile, you will have your bib removed and you will be pulled from the course. IF you choose to continue, you will be banned from ALL Eagle Endurance, LLC events.

Cancellation Policy

Running this distance is going to suck. The only reason I will cancel this event is if the forest is on fire, there is a hurricane and zombies are out on the trail. If for any reason the event has to be shut down due to extreme weather, natural disaster or zombies on the course (other than the runners…), you will be pulled from the course or held at an aid station until you can be removed from the course. Please, no arguing if this should happen. It is for your own safety.

The Trail and Use of the FMNF

The Trail

All events take place within the Hell Hole Swamp located in the heart of the Francis Marion National Forest located outside Charleston, South Carolina.

The trail we run on is called the Jericho Horse Trail, it’s a 16.3 mile loop through the forest consisting of dirt fire roads, single track trail and double track trail. It is a flat trail that is unforgiving. Past participants found it difficult due to the fact that there are zero hills, little elevation change and when they were on the course, they didn't know when to walk.

Refund Policy:

Under no circumstance will refunds be issued, registrations be transferred to another person or transferred to a later date.
