AID STATIONS
Drinks: Water, Tailwind, Coke, Ginger Ale
Hot Food (depending on time of day): Soup, Pan Cakes, Bacon, Burgers, Veggie Burgers, Hot Dogs
Runner Nutrition: Gu - Gels, Waffles, Chews
Food: Potatoes, PB&J's, Avocado, Pickels
Snacks: Pretzels, Potato Chips, Gold Fish, Trail Mix, M&M's, Jolly Ranchers
ATHLETES WITH DISABILITIES DIVISIONS
Criteria for entry into the 2018 River Loop AWD category is as follows:
• AWDs must be able to run the course
• Tethers may be used for athletes with a visually impairment
• Leg prosthetics may be used for amputees.
• Crutches, braces, or poles may be used if indicated/necessary.
• Due to the off-road nature of the course, it is not suitable for athletes in wheelchairs (see more on this below).
AWD Entry Process
AWDs will follow the same REGISTRATION PROCESS as the general registration, and will register for the timed race they plan to run.

DROPPING DOWN OR OUT
F YOU DECIDE TO DROP DOWN TO A LOWER TIME, YOU MUST DO SO BY 10PM ON DEC. 30. 100% REFUND UP UNTIL NOV. 30, 2018. 75% REFUND UP UNTIL DEC. 22.
REQUIREMENT
You'll need your own light source as ALL of you will be racing in the darkness on dirt paths. Please plan accordingly with back up batteries and a strong enough light source for your needs!
AT THE FARM
CAMPING ONSITE AT START/FINISH STARTING AT NOON ON DEC. 30
WE WILL HAVE A BARN TO USE FOR OUR AID STATION AND STORE GEAR IF YOU DON'T HAVE A TENT TO SET UP.
AID STATION WILL PROVIDE WATER, TAILWIND, CHIPS, PRETZELS, GOLDFISH, GU GELS/CHEWS/WAFFLES, CANDY, SOUP, BOILED POTATOES, PICKLES, AND WE'LL PROBABLY FIRE UP THE GRIDLE IN THE MORNING FOR BREAKFAST & GRILL FOR LUNCH/DINNER.
THIS IS A CUPLESS EVENT! PLEASE BRING A REUSABLE CUP OR WATER BOTTLE FOR YOURSELF!

The Run828Foundation is 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina. Our mission is to promote healthy, active, outdoor opportunities to individuals and families in Western North Carolina. We do this by providing opportunities, support, education, and funding. We host and sponsor community running events and provide structure and administrative support for the North Carolina Mountain Trail Runners running club. Run by a volunteer board of directors, we rely on funding through member enrollment, local business sponsors, and funds received from RUN828 sponsored races.
