Welcome

La Cuesta Ranch Trail Run presented by Running Warehouse of San Luis Obispo. The race will take place on Saturday, January 6th at the gorgeous La Cuesta Ranch, just outside of San Luis Obispo on Loomis Rd. La Cuesta Ranch backs up to PolyCanyon and West Cuesta Ridge. This private, working cattle ranch is also used as a local wedding venue. The start / finish area will be staged at the historic ranch barn. This event features 100% dirt trail and ranch roads with fantastic views of the West Cuesta Ridge.

6:30am - gates open at La Cuesta Ranch

$10.00 parking fee per vehicle will be collected upon arrival



7:00am - Runner Check In at the Barn



7:00am - Julie’s Kitchen Opens for Business - Hot Coffee, pastries, burgers, chips, drinks available for purchase.



7:45am - Mandatory Runner Meeting at the Barn…don’t be late.



8:00am - Race Start for all distances. 10km / 14m / 28m



10:00am - Live music at the Barn



1:30pm - Julie’s Kitchen Closes



Race Course Description



All three distances will start at 8:00am at the Barn.



All three distances will finish at the Barn.



10k - Loop course, 100% dirt trail, ranch roads and section of rocky scramble.

14m - Loop course, 95% dirt trail, ranch roads, bush wacking and sections of rocky scramble.

28m - Double loop course, 95% dirt trail, ranch road, bush wacking and sections of rocky scramble.



Aid Stations

Aid Stations will be available approximately every five miles. FLUID Sports Nutrition, Muir Energy, Mas Korima, fruit, water, ice, chips and other surprises.



Cut Off Times

10km - no cut off time

14m - no cut off time

28m - 1:00pm at mile 14 (You must complete the first 14 mile loop prior to 1:00pm. No runner will start the second 14 mile loop after 1:00pm.)



Awards

Special Championship Awards for the first Male and Female in each distance.

Handcrafted Tarahumara awards for all finishers.



Results

It is your responsibility to check in at the timing booth as you finish. If you fail to check in you will not be listed as a finisher. Results will be posted at www.allwedoisrun.com and www.ultrasignup.com

La Cuesta Ranch non-optional entry fee of $10.00 per person is payable in cash upon arrival.

Course Map and Description

Because this is private property, the owner has asked us not to post any course maps until closer to the event. However, the course will be a combination of rugged single track trail and ranch roads with big vistas with rolling hills and plenty of elevation gain and loss. The course is beautiful and runnable.
