Description

On July 16, 2015, Chattanooga was forever changed. Join us to run/walk five miles to remember and honor each of the men who gave the ultimate sacrifice. For the 2018 Chattanooga Heroes 5 Mile Run/Walk & 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, we are running the 2017 course with a slight change to the finish line. The race will still begin at the NOSC, but will loop back around through the Riverwalk and finish at the Hubert Fry Center.

Parking will be in the fields by Riverpark -- to enter and park, the only entrance that will be open is the entrance closest to Chattanooga State's entrance off Amnicola Highway. Pull in, follow the parking attendant's directions, and it's a short walk to the start line.

Race Proceeds

As decided by the families of the five servicemen, all profits from the event will be donated to help fund a permanent memorial that will be built near the NOSC off Amnicola Highway.
