Event Description
Ogden High School Marching Band presents the Orange and Black Heart Attack! Triathlon:
3.6 mile run*, 10 mile bike ride* and 300 meter swim.

1 Solo Entry-- $45.00
2 Person Team -- $80.00
3 Person Team -- $115.00
**Ages 18 and under
1 Solo Entry -- $25.00
All Student 2 Person Team -- $45.00
All Student 3 Person Team -- $60.00
*Note: Course includes road plus single track trail
**Must be 18 years old & under at the time of the race to qualify for the student discount.
The 3.6 mile running course with 2.1 miles of trail:
Starts off at Ogden High School and heads up 29th Street to the 29th Street Trailhead, taking the Gibbs Trail to 36th Street Trailhead and continue down to Mt. Ogden Park. There runners will take 32nd street down to Tyler Ave looping back to Ogden High School.
The 10 mile biking course with 7.4 miles of trail:
Begins at Ogden High School and heads up 29th Street to Fillmore Ave, travels along Fillmore Ave just past 20th street to the Bird Song Trail, traveling down to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST). There you will travel the BST up past Taylors, Waterfall and Strong canyons to the Bobsled trail, head down to the WSU Parcourse and connecting with 36th Street Trailhead. Then, following the running course down to Mt. Ogden Park, down 32nd Street to Tyler Ave and loop back to Ogden High School.
300 meter swim:
Finish the triathlon by completing a 50 meter lap down and back in each of the 6 lanes of the Ogden High School pool.
The race will be timed and include time splits at the end of the running, biking and swimming courses. Participants will receive a shirt.
100% of the proceeds go to the OHS Marching Band boosters to help students participate in band competitions, events, and activities throughout the school year.
