Description

Ok so I’m just going to keep this short and simple because this is a simple race. It is definitely beautiful with views of Mt Hood, views of a small but gorgeous lake, and beautiful single track trails. What simple is it’s 100% runnable and just a straight out and back. It’s your average classic 10k on trail. No fancy shmancy gadgets and gizmos or anything. No obstacles no big hill no thrills and frills. Just your classic race. You can run as fast as you’d like or walk. It’s all simply just to have fun out on beautiful trails.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again I get feedback from my Races such as people saying that this was their first ever trail race, that it was fun and beautiful, and that they never would have known it was there if It hadn’t of been for the event. That is 100% the reason why I put on these races that and to make a living I mean a girls gotta eat riaght?! This race is exactly just that it’s 100% trail, 100% runnable or walkable, and 100% beautiful. This event is for anyone and everyone. Anyone can truly do this event and at any pace. Now moving on to the details of this event.

Race date: September 29th 2018

Race start time: 9:00 A.M. check in until 8:50 A.M.

Race distances & prices:

• 10k - $35 until September 1st - $40 until race day which will be $45

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Wait an announcement in the middle of a race description and details. Yes so throughout the entire sign up including race day you can get a discount. If you sign up for both the Crosstown 10k and either the Oxbow Races 10k or 8 miler you will receive a discount. If you sign up for both the Crosstown 10k and the Oxbow 10k you get $5 off the second race you sign up for. If you sign up for the Oxbow 8 miler and the Crosstown 10k you get $8 off. Which ever event you sing up first you will receive a discount for the second event.

This event is held 100% on the Mt Hood National Forest prosperity and have been approved by all parties involved and sanctioned by USA Track & Field.
