The course begins at the gate at the top of Madrone point right near our parking area ‘E’ at Liberty Glen. The road/trail is a great downhill ending in the water after a couple of miles. Some runners may wish to return back up to the top for a longer race. The team run will be from the top to the water’s edge.
WE HAVE AMAZING DEMO SHOES FROM HOKA ONE ONE, ON RUNNING, SALOMON AND SAUCONY FOR THE RUNNERS.
The one and only aid station is at the finish with a standard fair of aid station food. HRC grilled cheese, good and bad beer, wine, cheese and crackers please. GU Engery Gels, Chews and Roctane Drinks.
RULES FROM TROPICAL JOHN:
1. No littering. Zero, zip, nada. Carry it in, carry it out
2. Be nice. Be nice to each other, be nice to the volunteers, be nice to other trail users.
3. Have fun.
Violation of rules 1 and 2 will get you disqualified. If you are observed violating rule 3 we may withhold your post-race beer.
We secured some campground sites if you wish to spend Sunday night at Liberty Glen Campground. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need lodging.
Swimming is the post-race fun. Including great music, grilled cheese, good and bad beer (Pabst and Racer 5), wine (all types) and of course someone always brings cider and non-alocholic drinks too!
