About the event

The Austin Taylor Challenge is an annual Ultra Marathon Trail Run in Georgia that raises money and awareness to help find a cure for childhood cancer. Austin Taylor was a warrior who had more of an impact on the people that he met in his 9 short years, than most can hope for in 90 years. His inspiration started with one race, and now has become a legacy for us to continue as we ask others to accept the Challenge, and help us find a cure for childhood cancer.

The course is 2 figure 8 loops for the 50k. You will run on single track trails that they used for the 1996 Olympic mountain bike race. There are two aid stations on the course, the primary aid station is located at the figure eight connection allowing access to your things 3 times. All runners will receive a tech shirt and all finishers will receive a medal.
