Wildflowers and Granite

Welcome to one of Truckee's most scenic and rugged trail races. The Lost and Found 35k/20k has something for everyone. The start/finish is at Johnson Canyon Trailhead to DLRT. Starting with some steep climbs and great views on the Donner Lake Rim Trail, past Summit Lake, 1st and 3rd Aid, then continue to "hole in the Ground" trail up to Castle Pass, 2nd Aid, where the 20k will return down Castle Pass Rd to the DLRT and go back to the start. The 35k will continue up to Castle Peak along the ridge to Basin Peak and continue dow to the Warren Lake trail to the Donner Lake Rim Trail back to picturesque Summit Lake as you wind through ancient granite back to Johnson Canyon finish.

Epic Run On Dirt

Epic Endurance Events with special support from Run On Dirt Coaching present Lost and Found 35k/20k. Designed by Peter Fain of Run On Dirt, this course will leave you breathless. From the abundant wildflowers to the Summit of 9000ft Castle Peak with 360' views of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, you will be inspired by the beauty and tested by the difficulty. Whether you are looking for a rugged course that will prepare you for mountain races like UTLT, UTMB and Castle Peak100k or you want to discover the magic that awaits around this high alpine route, we will guide you safely on this journey. Join us to celebrate on the Sierra Crest near historic Donner Summit and Truckee. We will provide the post race food and fun that we are known for plus all the great swag! Hit the high country trails and come away with some Epic tales. We will have bib pickup, pre-race meeting, and happy hour at Tahoe Mountain Sports on Friday July 23rd.
