What is Virtual Trail Racing?

A few things came to mind to create this. First, some trail runners or hikers can't make the scheduled event date and we have allowed them to run the course on their own and submit GPS and/or Photos to submit a finish, but not get on the finishers list. This way, they didn't lose out on getting the swag: bib, finisher medal, shirt, buff, jacket, sweatshirt, and maybe even an age group award or the famed "PCTR Ultramarathon Finisher's Coaster". Second, we have event storage similar to the above mentioned that we know you want. So, we decided to create this series and put up the races that we have produced in 2017, and 2018.

2019 Registration Information

Registration will open on January 15th at 11:00 AM and continue through December 15th, 2019.

Fee: $29 plus Ultrasignup fee.

How to complete a PCTR Virtual Trail Race.

Click on the Registration Button.
Choose your event.
Select your shirt size.
Enter your mailing address.
Run the course at the park you select (as close as you can to the maps provided).
Or, if you live in Nebraska, then run in Nebraska the same distance of the selected virtual race.
Then send your data, gps file, or photo, or anything to prove you ran, hiked or crawled the race.
Then we will send you "The Suff".

Race Swag

Race Swag is the following:
1. Actual bib used at the selected event.
2. A shirt from the selected event.
3. A finisher medal from the selected event.
4. An age group award from the selected event (if your time falls in the 2017 or 2018 data)
5. An ultramarathon finisher coaster if you complete an ultraevent.
6. A buckle if you complete one of the 100K or 100 mile events (48 hour time limit)
7. "Go run a trail." sticker
8. Anything else we can find to make you happy.
