Description
Warrior Creek half marathon is run on the trails of W. Kerr Scott Lake in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The wooded trail is mostly rolling hills, which are enjoyable for beginner and experienced trail runner alike. The race will start at the amphitheater in the center of the Warrior Creek campground. There is a half mile of pavement to spread the runners out before you hit the single track. From there the rest of the race is on trails. This race was held annually from 2013-2015, however in the last few years it has not been held. We are excited to be restarting it in 2019.

About Us
Where’s The Finish (WTF) was founded by Blaine Johnston in early 2019, a trail runner and mountain bike rider. We (the royal “we”) are based in Wilkesboro, home of Merlefest, Carolina in the Fall, Lowe’s, and chicken farms galore. When not enjoying world class bluegrass, we enjoy running and riding on the great trails that Wilkes county and the surrounding areas have to offer. In particular we enjoy using the trails made by the Brushy Mountain Cycling Club at W. Kerr Scott Lake.
