CHIME Institute

The CHIME Institute, a nonprofit organization established in 1990, is a national leader in the development and implementation of an unique model of inclusive education. Inclusive education at CHIME Institute means that children who reflect the demographics of the surrounding region—including children who develop typically, children with special needs and children who are gifted—learn side by side.

100% of proceeds from this event go to funding CHIME's K-8 Charter School in Woodland Hills. Find more information about CHIME at www.chimeinstitute.org.

The Course

The Cheetah Run 5k is a flat and fast out and back on the newly opened LA River Headwaters Bike Path. This path has the unique characteristic of going underneath major streets! That means that you never have to worry about car traffic. We're excited to be able to spotlight this amazing resource that's newly available to the West Valley.

Runners will start at the starting line where the path crosses Tampa Ave and run West. There will be a turn around/Aid station where the path crosses DeSoto Ave. and runners will run back to Tampa.
