The Mark Twain Trail Summit is a celebration of local running clubs including Arch City Run Club, Daily Run Club, St. Louis Trail Running Club, Jefferson County Run Club, Columbia SMUT, Lake of the Ozarks Runners and the Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group.
Local time: 9:12 PM
The Mark Twain Trail Summit is held at Berryman Campground (Home of the Berryman Trail Races) just Southwest of St. Louis.
The Summit begins at 7:30am with a group run (all paces/distances welcome) and ends with BBQ, fellowship, and your standard tomfoolery.
This is a no cost event and open to all, unless you want a shirt...and you will!
This year's shirts are Patagonia Capilene Cool Short Sleeve Shirts with the classic Mark Twain logo on front and all participating club's logos on back. Colors TBD by stock available at time of order. Shirt orders are placed at time of sign-up. The deadline to place a shirt order is July 31st. Limited extras will be available, so if you want one order one.
New this year is BBQ of Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket smoked by Roman 14:2 (Brian Bauer) with proceeds benefiting Anna's Flying Pigs and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. There is no cost to participants for the BBQ, but donations are welcome!
Anyone is welcome to camp Friday or Saturday night. Nothing formal is planned for either night.
Again this is a no cost event, but you need to RSVP so we can plan to have enough food, etc. Registration will end on September 8th.
Can’t run? We would love to have you as a volunteer! Contact: Andy Stann - St. Louis Ultrarunners Group - firstname.lastname@example.org
