The Yeti lands in Washington

You've heard the tales out of the south of the Yeti, a legendary figure who drinks beer, gives away trucker hats, and yes, runs on trails. The Yeti has landed on the west coast for the first time, and brings along the Yeti Nightmare, a nighttime trail event near Port Townsend, WA.

The course itself will take you along the water's edge and into the forest for a rolling and fast 5-mile loop. Runners have the option to sign up for the 5-mile or 10-mile race (two loops), ending at the event barn at the park for an evening of food, beverages, and a downright good time. Never run trails before, or is it your first time running in the dark? No worries. The trails are beautiful and will be extremely well-marked for your safety. Are you a trail running veteran looking for a fast, fun run with a party at the end? Guess what. This event is also for you.

Saturday, November 9th
5:00 pm 5-mile and 10-mile race start

Headlamps: everyone is required to have some form of running-specific illumination (headlamp, waist belt, etc.) - I encourage all of you to test your batteries beforehand and bring a backup. Don't be that guy.

Awards will go to top 3 women and men in each race. Participants will receive a shirt, pint glass, and food and beverages at the finish line.
