Welcome to the Third Annual Back On the Ranch Run and Camp and Music Jam
The event takes place at the Ted Chamberlin Ranch in Los Olivos California.
Complete as many laps as possible within the allotted 3, 6, 12, 24 and 48 hour periods. 12 hour runners may opt for a daytime or night time 12 hour segment. (8:00 am to 8:00pm on Saturday or 8:00 pm Saturday to 8:00 am Sunday). A 100 mile option is available for any 24hr or 48hr runner who has completed 86 miles by 8:00 am on Sunday. Those runners may continue until reaching 100 miles or 12:00pm (whichever is sooner).
Custom buckle will be presented to all 100 and or 200 mile finishers.
The course is an approximately one mile loop. The surface is fast, hard pack dirt road. Direction will alternate every four (4) hours. The surface is 100% dirt and is very runnable, subject to weather. Well stocked Aid Station and support is available every mile and at your personal camp.
Camping is available within a few feet of the course. Camping and parking is free.

6hr Start - 8:00am Saturday, October 3
12hr Start - 8:00am Saturday, October 3
24hr Start - 8:00am Saturday, October 3
Professional chipped live tracking, timing and results provided by Negative Split Running Company.
A custom souvenir shirt, handcrafted awards and other swag will be provided to all finishers.
Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in each division.
Live music, dancing and campfire on Saturday evening.

Kids 3-hour Run
The “Kids 3-hour Run” at Back on the Ranch is for kids of all ages, but was designed for kids looking to earn miles for the 100 Mile Club®, an award-winning, non-profit, school-based running program where students work to log 100 miles (or more!) over the course of the school year, becoming Healthy, Happy, and Connected along the way.
Any and all are welcome to join this special 3-hour run: 100 Mile Club Kids, parents, teachers, friends, advocates, or any running club looking for a non-competitive, supportive, and inclusive environment to further their joy of running and community. Discounts codes are available for a limited time, so make your plans and let’s get Back on the Ranch for some miles and sMILES!
