6K and 5K Pro Race

The Pro Races will be Interval starts with one racer starting every 30 seconds.

Men (6K) start at 10:00am followed by the women (5K) at 10:10am

There will be 3 running laps, 2 shooting stages (P,S) with subsequent penalty loops for any missed shots.

Pro Racers must have their own biathlon specific rifle and be Red Book certified.

6K and 5K Novice Race

The Novice Races are open to Men and Women who are trying biathlon for the first time or do not have their own rifle.Races will be interval starts with one racer starting every 30 seconds.

Men (6K) start at 10:45am followed by the women (5K) at 11:00am

There will be 3 running laps, 2 shooting stages (both prone with a block) with subsequent penalty loops for any missed shots.

Rifles will be provided for all novice racers. Those with their own rifle's may use them during the race. Only biathlon specific .22 caliber rifles are permitted to be used on the range.

All novice racers are required to attend a safety briefing 15 minutes before the race.

Bib Pick-Up: 8:00-10:30am
Zero (for those with personal rifles): 9:00
Race Start: 10:45

3K U16 Race

The 3K U16 race is for athletes between the ages of 10 and 15 who are trying biathlon for the first time or do not have their own rifle.

The race will start at approximately 11:20 and consist of 3 1K running laps and 2 shooting stages (both prone, shooting from a block). The start will be mass start format and depending on the number of participants, wave starts will be implemented. There will be a penalty loop for required for all missed shots.

Rifles will be provided for all U16 racers. Those with their own rifle's may use them during the race. Only biathlon specific .22 caliber rifles are permitted to be used on the range.

All U16 racers are required to attend a safety briefing 15 minutes before the race.
