About the Event

The Tahoe 200 Running Festival is a weekend-long event that bridges the gap between newcomers and high-profile ultra-runners from around the globe. Gathering at the picturesque West Shore of Lake Tahoe, Homewood Mountain Resort plays host to a plethora of athletes, spectators, and outdoor aficionados for a weekend-long festival of alfresco activities. In addition to the spotlight race, the notorious Tahoe 200, this weekend will be packed with on-mountain events for all ages to enjoy including a 5k Family Run, 10k & 15k Mountain Run, Beer Belly 2k, Vertical “Face-Off” 4k, concerts, a pop-up vendor village, and more!

Recognized as the first-ever 200-mile single loop mountain event in the United States, the Tahoe 200 circumnavigates the sparkling, clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe from the Tahoe Rim Trail. While this particular race is sold out, we encourage spectators to join us in cheering on runners ats the race begins and kicks off our weekend of festivities. Homewood has proudly hosted this event since the beginning and we’re thrilled to offer a collection of smaller races alongside a festive vendor village this September.

Vendor Village @ the Base

Between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Friday, September 13 – September 15th, our base area will be converted into a base camp for numerous outdoors vendors, running outfitters, and local apparel brands. This will double as the starting location for all race events taking place this weekend, including the starting and finishing location of the Tahoe 200. Guests are also permitted (and encouraged) to explore the trail system our resort has to offer and try new gear offered in the village.

Just hanging out or passing by? Don’t forget to grab food or drinks from the Tahoe Fusion or Mountain BBQ. We’ll also have a fully serviced bar available through the weekend.

Date: Friday, September 13th through Sunday, September 15th, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Vendor Village Live Concerts: Saturday & Sunday from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
