The Raven 50 Ultra Experience
The Raven 50 Ultra is a Run for Life sponsored event. At Run for Life, we believe in building stronger communities through sport. We build partnerships that encourage runners to show up - not just well-trained - but also well-informed with knowledge of, and respect for, the land and her peoples. The Raven 50 Ultra is hosted within the Traditional Territory and Settlement Lands of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation (KDFN). We are proud to work year-round with our KDFN partners to bring you this race in a good way. If you are indigenous, please contact us at raven@runforlife.ca for a free entry!
Together we fly!
Runners can expect 50 miles or 50 km of raw, rugged alpine beauty. The Raven 50 carries runners across flowy single track trails, three ridges, two peaks, and more than 2500 m elevation gain, with multiple water crossings. Runners can expect a rare service road connector (crew access!), seven fabulous aid stations, and fairly reliable cell-phone service for the duration of the race.
Solo or relay
You can decide to undertake the Raven 50 as a solo runner for the 50 miles or 50 km, or as 2 persons team for the 50 miles, with an exchange close to the mid-point. We offer 8 aid stations for check in.
