“One of the key principles in this sport is volunteering. You cannot just show up, pay the entry fee, and run. You have to give back.” - Dick Collins
“As an ultrarunner you never appreciate the backside of the race. It is an awful amount of work.” - Stan Jensen, an all-time volunteer with 600x blood donations.
The first and only 60K on earth dares to have the unique volunteering requirements. This is our offering of the best trails in Marin Headlands for you to GIVE. This is a celebration and appreciation for those who are selfless and generous to GIVE.
Marine Mammals 60K YMMV is an optional aided fat ass run - "no fee, no aid, no awards and no wimps" - Joe Oakes
