Storm the Park is going VIRTUAL!
As we look to keep everyone safe, we are changing the format of Storm the Park to be a virtual event. We have created an event site where you can participate and submit your results online. This way you can see how you and everyone else is doing on the race leaderboard.
Since we will no longer be out at Whitewater, we will open registration back up for others to join in on the fun! All participants registered by April 30th will receive a Storm the Park long-sleeved technical shirt. We will schedule a couple of drive-through shirt pick-ups in Winona. If you are unable to make it to shirt pick-up, we will mail it to you.
An email has been sent out to all registered participants with more details.
All new registrations will receive instructions on completing the virtual registration in their confirmation email.
As is with all of our events, a portion of our profits will be donated to a local Youth Mental Health service provider. We also encourage participants to make a donation during the registration process.
The Storm Trail Race Series mission is to encourage people of all skill levels to participate in trail racing events, to get outdoors and to enjoy the beautiful local trails in Southeast MN. Your donations and a percentage of the profits from this event will go to the Youth Mental Health programs.

Come to Southeast Minnesota to "Storm the Park" and enjoy all that the trails at Whitewater State Park have to offer!! There will be 2.5 mile, 5 mile, 8.5 mile, 17 mile and 25.5 mile distances available. The relatively flat course follows and crosses the Whitewater river and offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding bluffs.
In an effort to lessen our race footprint on the environment, we are going cupless. Please bring your own reusable cup, refillable water bottle, etc… You will have an opportunity to purchase a silicone drinking cup at checkout.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE RACE! There will NOT be race day registrations.
THIS EVENT HAS A 100 PARTICIPANT CAP ACROSS ALL DISTANCES!
We have 2.5, 5, 8.5, 17 and 25.5 mile distances starting on Saturday, May 16th at 8:00am.
We are excited to be able to allow pets not only as spectators but as running and walking companions at this event! Please read the FAQs and Policies for details.

* 8:00 am - 17 mile and 25.5 mile start
* 8:50 am - Pre-Race Announcements
* 9:00 am - 2.5, 5 and 8.5 mile start
* Post Race - Food and beverages
All participants that register before 11:59 pm on April 30th will be able to select a long sleeve shirt in the size of their choice. Registrations on or after April 30th will be able to pick from the limited shirt sizes available on race day.
