This year's race has been moved to New South Farms. This beautiful piece of property is owned and managed by elite ultra runner Anne Elise and her husband Alex. Work has begun to clear new trails with varying elevation. You will be shaded most of the way as you pass by pines, palmettos, and oaks. Several animals call this place home so please be considerate and pick up all trash. More updates to come in the following weeks.
Race Day: Set up begins Saturday, November 6th at 6am Mandatory Prerace meeting starts at 7:30am for all races. Race starts at 8am
Course set up:
Tents and canopies are allowed to be set up race day only. Your area must stay clean and tidy during race weekend! Camp stoves are allowed. Please make sure your equipment is working properly. Spots will be at a first come first serve bases.
Staple foods will be in plenty Vegan, vegetarian, and fruitarian options will be available upon request. Please send any specialty nutrition request to Race Director Winston Fletcher. We are happy to help accommodate. We will also have hot items: soups, sandwiches, quesadillas, etc... Order up and it will be ready on your next lap!!
Each runner's bottle will be given a marker to label their bottles. A table will be set up for you to easily grab your bottle from or drop off.
Local Points of Interest:
Food, convince stores, hotels, and a few grocery stores are within a 20 minute drive. We do encourage you to shop local. Largest city will be Palatka.
It's dark at night! Personal lighting is mandatory, bring headlamps or handhelds. We are up with you throughout the wee hours. You will not feel a lull in our energy during this time.
